Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Conitero ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Conitero platform, a people transport coordination service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including the control application and the guide mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and password. For billing purposes, we collect payment information which is processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe).

Operational Data

Through normal use of the platform, we collect data related to transport operations including route definitions, stop locations, journey schedules, guide assignments, and passenger pickup/drop-off records. This data is scoped to your organization and isolated in a dedicated database schema.

Guide Application Data

When guides use the mobile application, we may collect location data (with consent) for journey tracking, device information, and app usage data. Guides only have access to operationally necessary information — personal passenger data is minimized by design.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit or use our platform, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and access times. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and remember preferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Conitero platform and its features
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription and billing
  • Enable transport coordination including journey scheduling, route management, and guide assignments
  • Send administrative communications such as account verification, password resets, and service updates
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve platform performance and user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4. Data Isolation and Multi-Tenancy

Conitero operates on a multi-tenant architecture where each organization's data is stored in a separate, isolated database schema. Your operational data (routes, passengers, journeys, guides) is never shared with or accessible to other organizations on the platform. Platform-level data (account credentials, billing information) is managed separately from tenant-scoped operational data.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform (hosting, payment processing, email delivery), bound by contractual obligations to protect your data
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, legal process, or governmental request
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to affected users
  • With your consent: When you have given explicit permission to share specific information

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted storage for sensitive data, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Operational data (journey logs, activity records) is retained as long as your organization's subscription is active. Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@conitero.com.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
